In the spirit of God's call to spread the gospel to all the nations of the world, Commissioned by Christ embraces this mandate and is revitalized in our beautiful commissioning to continuing forming missionaries and serving in the corporal and spiritual works of mercy.

CBC is proud to announce this year's "Bishop Paul S. Loverde Missionary Award for Selfless Service" recipient, Dr. Gil Irwin, founder of Medical Missionaries. Founded in 1997, Medical Missionaries is a volunteer group of more than 200 doctors, nurses, dentists, and others who work to improve the health of the poor in the U.S. and throughout the world by providing medical care, medical supplies, clothing, and food.

The evening kicks off at 6:30pm at St. Luke Catholic Church in McLean, VA. The Silent Auction goes live Friday, October 20 at 9am ET and ends at 9pm ET. The CBC Event Committee is working to make this a memorable and fun experience. Be on the lookout for some surprises!
